Poetic Plunge

I had painted this spot well over 10 years ago and came across the reference image recently when I was looking for more waterfall imagery. Like most artists, I discovered that with more painting experience, and especially painting lots more falling water from life in recent years, my editing skills kicked in much better than my earlier efforts and I could focus more so on the effects of the falling water rather than messing so much with the surrounding elements that were of secondary importance.
