Time-Out

I am inspired by many, many artists, but especially Andrew Wyeth and other realists like him. I love super realistic landscapes and I also love Monet’s art. However, I find it difficult to get out of my “attention to detail” mode and to venture into Impressionism. I can do abstracts, but I love their reactions when people see my super-realistic paintings. It brings me a great sense of joy especially when I see my art bringing wonder or joy to others.
I love playing with shadows, reflections and color. I see endless possibilities for paintings almost everywhere around me, especially in Nature.
I have worked in watercolors and oils, but I love the almost instant gratification that acrylics afford.
