This painting is a soft pastel piece created on Pastel Premier paper, a surface with a lot of "tooth". I love painting western-themed pieces and creating work that, hopefully, tells a story. I believe this painting does that, or at least, will cause the viewer to "write" their own narrative about what is going on here.
