The Jouster

I often roam the grounds of Renaissance Faire festivals, where I find troves of great subject matters and very interesting pictures to take.
One area I like in particular is the jousting area. The knights showing their battling skills, the powerful galloping horses, the sun and sky reflecting on the shiny armors, the whole environment lends itself to a fascinating spectacle.
This painting is based on one of the pictures I took in one of these Faires.
