Statice by the stream

This is a plein air painting of statice flowers lining a little stream. It was more attractive because of the rocks lining the sides of the water. Instead of doing detailed work on the water, which was flowing fast, I focused more on the plants around. I depicted the movement of the water in quick strokes.
