On a sunny, bright January day, I set up my easel on this trail to one of the most famous surfing beaches in the world, Trestles, located near the Orange/San Diego County line in California. I was attracted by the sun on the foliage, purity of the sky and air, and intense color, perfect for the acrylic medium.
