Norton's Gulch - plein air

Near Coos Bay, Oregon are a string of state parks, in which I painted this piece on a sunny, crisp morning, as birds sang in the trees, and the waves crashed on the shore beneath my painting perch. Emphasis on cool and warm color temperatures was my focus in this work.
