Dawn in Eden

I'd seen this place once 20 years ago (before I was a painter) and it stuck with me for a long time. Returning to the spot recently, after 20 years, I was now able to give expression to the landscape as a painter and experience a creative catharsis. The sun was rising on a tidal creek, water was flowing to the bay, to the ocean and I was glad to have the time to observe this daily cycle.
