Dawn's Grace

This piece was completed using oil on a RayMar linen panel. The inspiration for this piece came as i was walking through a wildlife refuge just outside of Hilton Head, SC one morning. I had driven down before daylight and it was bitterly cold as the wind blew across the marsh. However, I was rewarded as the sun began to spill onto the trees. I was attracted to the pinks and oranges present on the palms and wanted to convey a sense of solace.
