This piece was completed in oil on a RayMar linen panel. The inspiration for this piece comes from a wildlife refuge just outside of Hilton Head, SC. I had driven down one morning before daylight, and it was bitterly cold as the wind blew across the marsh. However, I was rewarded as the sun began to spill onto the trees. I was attracted to the pinks and oranges on the palms and wanted to communicate a sense of solace.
