In October 2024, I took part in my first plein air watercolor painting trip to Italy. The small, tranquil town of Verrucole with its deserted streets in full sunshine immediately captivated and inspired me. The old Fort of Verrucole, towers over the village, municipality of San Romano, province of Lucca, Tuscany, Italy.
