A formal portrait, one in a collection of five completed in 2024. Gifted to the City of Sparta, Wisconsin, these portraits honor a local group known as the Shovelmen, who have dedicated 15 years to building community infrastructure. The paintings are on permanant display in our historic, public Carnegie Library.
