This is a plein air painting done in a small harbor just north of Pismo Beach on the California coast. I set my gear up in a small boat repair yard with permission of course! This boat caught my I with the unusual name and I simply love these small fishing vessels! They were nearly done with the repairs and ready to go to sea. I was just in time to record my view before it was gone forever!
