This is a studio painting done from a plein air study and digital images taken at Lake Louise, Alberta, Canada. I had always wanted to paint here and at Lake O"Hare nearby! This lake is truly a beauty. The day we were there, however, was very smokey from a number of fires in the area. I did the best I could and then adlibbed a little on the studio painting at home. The smoke got worse so I did not get to paint at O'Hare!
