She Contains Multitudes is an invitation to explore the depths contained in one person. The inspiration for this painting came from my daughter who contains both a depth of sweetness and fierceness within her. The contrast between childish braids and confronting gaze gives this painting the emotional complexity I hope the viewer feels.
